About us
The Orbit Group was established more than 40 years ago and manages over 33,000 homes. As one of the largest housing groups in the UK, it employs over 1,800 people.
Our mission is to 'Build Brighter Futures for People and Communities.' Orbit First Step is managed by Orbit Homes (2020) Limited, a member of Orbit Group Limited, which is an exempt charity registered under the Industrial Provident Societies Act 1965.
Orbit First Step's focus is to provide a range of low cost housing options for people who want to get a foot on the housing ladder.
Our priorities include improving the quality of service to our residents and potential customers, to involve residents and other stakeholders in shaping our services and ensure equality and diversity issues are considered and reflected in all aspects of our work.
