19/02/10: Orbit’s Sales and Marketing Team walk to raise money for Briar Croft
On Sunday 7 March, Orbit’s Sales and Marketing team will undertake a 10 mile walk around Stratford-upon-Avon to raise money for residents at Orbit’s Briar Croft private retirement development.
The walk will start at Briar Croft on Alcester Road at 10am, then continue around Stratford, past Anne Hathaways Cottage, and end up back at Briar Croft. The walkers will all be dressed in either lilac for Orbit First Step or orange for Orbit Heart of England, making them easy to spot and cheer on!
The second phase of the Briar Croft development will see residents moving in at the end of this month. Many of the residents moving in are single and have expressed concerns about forming new friendships, so the teams from Orbit Heart of England & Orbit First Step hope that by raising funds to purchase items such as a Nintendo Wii, computers for the I.T. suite and eventually a minibus, residents will be encouraged to get together socially.
